WOW Wednesday Express

WooHoo it IS Wednesday!!  Two more sleeps 'til conference time!

Not much going on in my world.  One can only work from home with no real work to do for so long - laundry is all done.  House is clean.  Clothes for clothing exchange tagged and packed.  I don't know what's on my agenda today!

I found out that 24-Hour Fitness has water aerobics SIX days a week.  M-W-F-Sa are morning classes, Tu-Th are evening classes.  I went Monday and last night (with King in tow) and actually feel a bit sore today.  I guess two days in a row makes a difference.  It was just a little chilly leaving there last night.  I guess during the cooler months, I will be taking dry clothes and going to the locker room to change before heading outside.

I've had a couple of WooHoo-y WOW's lately

(a)  The realization that I weigh half of what I weighed in May 2007
(b)  Stood and talked to an old racing buddy and at this moment I think he's still not sure who he was talking to LOL
(c)  Another racing friend that we hadn't seen in awhile said "Look at you hot momma!"

I'm excited about the weekend and seeing everyone again or meeting some for the first time.  I'll be picking Mari P. up at DFW that morning and dropping her off at the hotel, then run back home to grab my stuff and will be back at the hotel around 2'ish if all goes according to plan.

Make it a great day, I plan on it!

I plan to be there by 3pm-ish.  I'll probably head straight to the clothing exchange to drop my load.  I'll text you so we can meet up and begin the gab fest asap!!

Tawyna & Jodie,
Don't be gabbing about me!! LOl Until I get there.. Love y'all.. I can't wait to get out of here..

It is end of the Physical year so needless to say.. We are all at each other throats trying to get our numbers right..
I'm so looking forward to this weekend..

My woo hoo is I realized for the first time in my life that for about a yr I have weighed about the same. That is priceless to a person that has major weight issues her entire life..

Smile, it increases your face value.

kathy I so hear you on weighing the same!!!
- I buy things after season now before if I got them to fit I felt guilty about "not trying to lose weight" and if I got them the size smaller I felt guilty when they didn't fit the next year - now I am willing to spend money on clothes for me b/c I will be able to wear them for a long time

Good Morning OH Family!

My woohoo is that I asked the uniform dept for a large size vest at work, because it is so cold I want to wear an undershirt under my white shirt. The girl said you are wearing a small now are you sure you want to jump to a large? I thought my vest was a medium. So I was able to wear a medium vest with an undershirt. Read a wonderful book last night at work to prepare for a class at work. I would highly recommend it for anyone that was laid off or not happy or worried about their job. It's called "Who Moved My Cheese" I still love my job, but last night had several grumpy people. When did the F word become ok to use on people? But had some really nice and fun people also. I'm fortunate to work with people that I really like. Well better go jump in the shower have to be at work early for a meeting. Hope everyone has a wonderful day!

Your loved!

Lynnette

Lynnette,

That is a good book to read. But I am a tightwad, and since it's so short, I just sat and read it at the bookstore.  It does have a lot of relevance for me now.   At this point, I'm learning to live without cheese for the time being, but I have ideas in mind on where to replenish my stash.

Hugs and see ya soonest!

Becky

Hello, everyone.  This place sure is buzzing with the conference coming up and with the clothes exchange.

I've been at low engery for a few days and am making myself post here today.  I read everyone's comments earlier and logged off, took care of some business, then came back determined to post something - anything.  It might seem minor to you, but that's big for me as it forces me to think about and deal with my health issues.  I've said it before, but I'll say it again...thank you for being here!

Wow moments?  Nothing health related, except I finally took my vitamins for the first time this week.  (What is my problem?  It's attitude, I know that much.)  One wow moment relates to business.  The Kindle version of my book had sales the first day it listed.  And I've gotten emails from readers wanting to know when the paperback is available.  That's always gratifying.

Also, my husband and I have been trying to buy retirement property in Colorado.  We thought we had a few places nailed down, only to have the deals fizzle.  That's been a big stresser lately. Finally, a seller has accepted our offer and now we're just wading through paperwork.

I'm enjoying the cooler weather.  I love the fall.

If you've read this, thanks for listening!

Belle
